Download Instructions for FX-Strategy Standard Pro Charts

  Download Charts:

To download and install the FX-Strategy Standard Pro Charts software on your computer please follow these steps.

Attention Vista and Windows 7 Users:
     Please click here for special download instructions specific to Windows Vista and Windows 7.
Due to Windows Vista User Account Controls (http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows/en-US/Help/9812d370-e66a-451a-80c9-f028d402d4281033.mspx), which is a new feature, there are a few extra steps needed when downloading the Charts on Windows Vista:
  1. Click on the download link and select "Save" instead of "Run".
  2. Save the exe file (fxstrategy1.exe) to your desktop or any other location that is easy to remember.
  3. Right-click on the file fxstrategy1.exe and select "Run as Administrator".
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts to allow fxstrategy1.exe to run and continue the installation process.
After the Charts are installed:
  1. Right-click on the Chart icon on your desktop.
  2. Click on "Properties".
  3. Select the "Compatibility" tab.
  4. Check the box for "Run this program as an administrator" under the "Privilege Level" menu.
You are now ready to access the Charts by double-clicking on the icon.
  • Click the Download Now link (below) and select "Open"/"Run" to download and install the software.
  • Once installed, to access the Charts, click on the icon on your computer's desktop and use your registered ID and Password to login.
  • Before logging in, please proceed to step 2 for Java upgrades and installation.

JAVA NOTICE: When you click on this download, we will automatically check your computer for 32 bit Java, which is required for the software to function correctly. For a 64 bit computer, a 32 bit Java is still needed. A new web browser from Sun Microsystems www.Java.com will now open to check your 32 bit Java version.

Java OK? If your Java is up to date you will see a message, "Your Java is working; Latest Java installed"

Java not OK? If you do not have Java installed or do not have the latest version of Java installed, please follow the Java.com directions to update your computer's Java.

  Install/Upgrade Sun Java:

The latest Java download is available for free from Sun Microsystems at http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp. This upgrade process will take you less than 5 minutes and will improve your Internet Explorer performance when running Java applets.

After this is downloaded and installed please restart your computer. Then please go back to your computer's desktop and click on the icon labeled "FX-Strategy Standard Pro Charts" to login. Please let us know if you are unable to access the chart.

The following Microsoft Windows service packs are required in order for the latest Sun Java to run successfully.
